One might think herd management should
start out with CHOOSING YOUR GOAT; but there is a lot to consider before deciding
if you would even enjoy owning a goat. This is by no means all inclusive but will
give you some idea of what it takes to raise and breed goats or even keep a goat
as a pet. There are as many different management plans and styles as there are breeders.
This is just ours and we have developed it by trial and error and a lot of sound
advice from our goat mentors and vets. I am not a veterinarian and highly suggest
that as a first step, before you buy a goat, you seek one out that is familiar with
